I saw these boots advertised on Facebook and ran right over to pick them up.

From Rebel Hope, they are just fabulous.

I love the garters and the suede material.

As I was opening all my other boxes, I came across this outfit from Suki.

I can’t remember where I picked it up (I think On9), but it’s gorgeous, and it comes with Omega appliers, so it works with my Maitreya body.

The hair is from Exile, makeup from Slack Girl and Izzie’s.

I’m enjoying the expressions Lelutka added to their heads.  It gives me a lot more flexibility when taking photos, which I love. ❤

I’ve also started using the brush I made with my signature, which I am also loving.  So much easier to use than faffing with text in Photoshop!

I recently visited the latest round of Enchantment.  This round’s theme is ‘Neverland.’

I’m a sucker for fairies, so I had to play the Sweet Lies gacha, even though I keep trying to swear off of them. 😛

My weakness was rewarded when I got the RARE Fitmesh dress on the first pull!  Well, then of course I needed wings to go with my dress.

I ended up getting the rare dress and gold wings (seen here) as well as the green wings and green outfit.  Not bad. 😀

I also couldn’t resist the adorable caged Tinkerbell from Figment.  You can change the color of the animated Tink, and the cage comes in both brass and steel.

The hair is from Truth and the butterflies are another inventory find (and so old I can’t find where I got them).

I also visited the Fantasy Gacha Carnival (I told you I was weak!) and, among other things, got this fabulous necklace from Unrepentant.

(The amount of boxes in my inventory from FGC is just shameful, but there were so many amazing items!)

Things are busier than ever here in Oz. 😀

I’ve started some new projects, some I’ve been wanting to do for a while, and some just kind of appeared.

But busy is good for me – I just have to work out my time management, and I will be good – schedulers are my friend!

I am still loving this Truth hair – I haven’t taken it off yet. 😛

Same with the skin from Lumae – but now that I’ve discovered how easy it can be to change skins, I may just have to start switching them out more often.

I wanted something soft for this picture, and this fabulous dress from Sage is perfect.

Each dress set has three options, so I chose the robin’s egg blue you see here.

And since I’m paying more attention to shoes now that I’m also writing over at I ❤ Shoes SL, I picked up these oh-so-sexy heels from ILLI.

They too come with a HUD, which means I can make them match just about any outfit – such a great deal!

This month I have made an effort to stay more focused on blogging.

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with Photoshop and filters and effects.

I generally try to stay pretty true to in-world looks and lighting on my LOTD posts, but it’s gotten a bit boring.

So, I decided to mix it up a bit and do some more (I hope) dramatic pics.

I am loving this new hair from Truth – it’s short and fun and flirty, a terrific combination.

When I was at FaMESHed, I picked up these amazing rockstar jeans from Rebel Hope.

I paired them with these studded heels from N-core, which I adore.

I wanted something a bit different, so I opted to go shirtless and took the opportunity to show off both this fab tattoo from Letis and this dangerous-looking (but gorgeous) necklace from DRD, which I picked up a while ago at The Fantasy Collective.

After playing around with lighting in-world, I was pretty happy with the photo, but I felt it needed a little something.

So I hopped over to Perfect Effects and added a grungy filter and ta-da!!

I’m also having quite a bit of fun coming up with the haikus that I have been writing to go along with recent posts.

Maybe I’ll gather them up into a collection. 😀

Yesterday I spent some time at “Failure to Thrive,” a new installation by Storm Septimus on LEA15.

I went to explore a bit and take a LOTD pic.

I ended up staying for over an hour and photographing everything. 🙂

I did manage to stay focused long enough to get my LOTD pic before I started exploring.

I’m still wearing my Maitreya body and my Lelutka head, though I did change out my skin to another Lumae one.

Wayne is a new-to-me designer, but I saw this blazer dress at the last Fi*Friday round and couldn’t resist.

The hair is from Exile, and I completed the look with these killer heels from Reign.

I don’t have a lot of shoes from Reign (yet!), but there is an outlet store with discounted shoes, so I picked up these beauties while I was checking it out.

I am loving these eyes from IKON – I am always on the lookout for really blue blue eyes, and so far, these are my favorite.

I still have more goodies to unpack and share, including the update to the LOGO Alex head, which I have yet to use in a LOTD – what is wrong with me??!!

This past week has been kind of a blur for me.

I’m taking some classes, and I find myself getting more and more frustrated.

I signed up for the class to learn, but lately I feel like I’m spending time learning things I know I won’t use, and it feels like I am going backwards.

Not exactly the experience I was hoping for.

However, I am determined to see it through, if only to prove to myself that I can. 😀

So, I did a bit of shopping to calm my nerves and soothe my soul.

I found a new event called the ‘Deviled Egg‘ at Tamogosenbei.

There are a lot of strange items, but when I saw these wingtips from Katat0nik, I had to have them.

There’s a ton of different colors to choose from, but I opted to go with the classic black and white.

I paired that with this cute dress from Hilly Haalan (I think it was a FLF find, but I’m not sure).

And of course, my Maitreya body and Lelutka head, along with this gorgeous Lelutka hair.

Now that I’ve had some peace and quiet, it’s back to the crazy chaos that is my life. 😛

I seem to be stuck in a vintage theme lately, and I’m loving it. 🙂

There are items from several ‘new-to-me’ things in this photo.

I discovered Vanity hair at the Vintage & Cool Fair, and I LOVE the Moonriver hair they had.

So I took a quick trip over to the mainstore to check it out, and found this fabulous pixie cut.

I had never heard of the FAD event before, so when I saw the ad, and that it was a vintage/retro theme, I had to go see for myself.

Le Moyet is a ‘new-to-me’ designer, but I just love the vintage feel of this dress, with the polka dot fabric and the adorable little poodle appliqué on the skirt.

Add some jewelry and these fabulous slingbacks from KC Couture and I instantly feel like a glamorous pin-up model. 🙂

The prop is from Exposeur from the Garcha Garden event (I think).

It’s only 5 prims and comes with 4 built-in poses with mirrors.

I’m not sure why it’s named ‘blue’ when it’s purple, but it’s still a great prop. 😛

The Enchantment event is open until September 4th.

The current round is based on “The Little Mermaid.”

This outfit is the first thing I bought at the event.

I love it when everything comes in a bundle, instead of having to buy multiple pieces or play a gacha to get the whole outfit.

It appeals to the inner miser in me. 😀

Besides coming all in one package, this outfit is simply stunning.

The fin attachments move gently as you do, and the detail on the corset is spectacular.

I love the swirls of color in the scales and fins – that lovely iridescent look is one of my favorites.

The headpiece is the perfect finishing touch to the entire look.

There’s still plenty of time left to head on over and pick this little gem up for yourself.
