I’ve been inspired the last several days to do LOTD posts.

Part of the inspiration was the fantastic sale at Exposeur – so many items I’ve wanted, but had resisted buying. 😀

So when they announced the sale, I ran right over and picked up all the goodies – including this fantastic princess tower.

I know I’ll get good use of it – both as a photography prop and as a prop in a future set.

The adorable hair is a group gift from Truth – one of my favorite hair stores.

The outfit is from BE Designs – a new store for me, but I love this outfit.  It comes with system layers and appliers, so I can use it for photos with my mesh body and also have the option to wear it onstage if I wanted. 😀

If you haven’t been to Exposeur, take a trip over to the mainstore. I think the sale is still on, but even if it isn’t, there’s a ton of great items. 🙂

I must admit, I’m having a ton of fun playing around in Photoshop and with the expressions on my Lelutka head.

I’ve been practicing taking photos with a green screen and then adding in various effects.  So much fun!  It’s like playing instead of working. 😛

I’m still busily sorting all the pieces and parts I’ve picked up over the last few months.  This pic has more Advent goodies – the top and the pants are both from Purple Moon’s Advent calendar.

The hair is from Truth and is currently still available (for a few more days) at this round of We ❤ Role Play.  I braved the crowds and the lag to get in just to get this hair!!

The shoes are from N-core, one of my favorite shoe stores, and are just fabulous.  Did I mention I love shoes?!

This is another photo that was inspired by one item – these fantabulous skates from N Core, now available at Kustom9!

You can make them roller skates OR ice skates. They come with a color change HUD to change the color of the wheels, laces, and legwarmers.  You can also remove the legwarmers, if you prefer.

I love them!  So adorable!

Once I put them on, I knew I wanted to do a retro/vintage themed pic.  I started searching through inventory and found this cute apron dress I wore in a previous dance routine.

The vintage hair from Vanity is just perfect – I love her retro styles. ❤

I started scouting locations and noticed that the skates from N Core also included an AO.  I put it on, and voilá – instant pose options!

This adorable pose and others are in the included AO, as well as some basic skating animations.  So whether you’re roller- or ice-skating, you’re covered.

I know I’m going to get a lot of use out of these skates. 😛

I was starting to have withdrawals, I hadn’t taken a LOTD picture in so long. 😦

There have been so many events and hunts lately that I was getting overwhelmed.

A ton of stuff, and no time to open it all!

Purple Moon is having another Halloween hunt, and I just love her designs, so I rushed right over to do it.

Lots of wonderful goodies, and not everything is orange, so yay! 😛

I also stopped off at the current round of Genre, which is urban-themed.

I had a few moments to myself to open boxes and sort through things today, so I did.

And the Lelutka heads were just updated to include expressions, so I had to try them out.

The hair is a freebie find from Lelutka – it’s in the mainstore in the hair section (obviously), and it says demo, but it’s wearable (no giant sign above your head) and it comes with all the color HUDs so you can make it any color you want.

The jacket, pants, and adorable purse are from the Purple Moon Halloween hunt.

I went to the Boho Culture fair and picked up this great jewelry set from Elysium (it was either free or $1L – I can’t remember which).

The fabulous boots are from N Core, currently out at Kustom9.

You can change them via HUD to be ankle, knee, or thigh high boots – so versatile!

The pose is a free gift from addme at The Seasons Story.

The great grungy backdrop and barrels are from Circa Living, currently out at Genre.

I picked up a couple of these ‘photoscenes’ from Circa – inexpensive and so terrific for backgrounds in photos. 🙂

This month I have made an effort to stay more focused on blogging.

I’ve been having a lot of fun playing around with Photoshop and filters and effects.

I generally try to stay pretty true to in-world looks and lighting on my LOTD posts, but it’s gotten a bit boring.

So, I decided to mix it up a bit and do some more (I hope) dramatic pics.

I am loving this new hair from Truth – it’s short and fun and flirty, a terrific combination.

When I was at FaMESHed, I picked up these amazing rockstar jeans from Rebel Hope.

I paired them with these studded heels from N-core, which I adore.

I wanted something a bit different, so I opted to go shirtless and took the opportunity to show off both this fab tattoo from Letis and this dangerous-looking (but gorgeous) necklace from DRD, which I picked up a while ago at The Fantasy Collective.

After playing around with lighting in-world, I was pretty happy with the photo, but I felt it needed a little something.

So I hopped over to Perfect Effects and added a grungy filter and ta-da!!

I’m also having quite a bit of fun coming up with the haikus that I have been writing to go along with recent posts.

Maybe I’ll gather them up into a collection. 😀

It’s a busy week for me, trying to get everything in order for my kiddos to start school.

So it’s a madhouse, as usual, with a little bit of extra crazy thrown in. 😛

I’m really missing having time to go around and shop, but I did manage to pick up a few new things to show you.

I have yet to take off this super-cute hair from Wasabi Pills from the last $50L Friday.

While over at On9, I picked up this gorgeous shirt from Purple Moon.

It comes in several different colors, but I fell in love with this fuschia shade.

There is a regular version and a translucent version – I’m wearing the translucent here.

The cute gold cuffs come with the shirt – bonus!

I threw on some old skinny jeans and paired them with these jaw-dropping heels from N-Core.

I’m so glad that N-Core has started making shoes for mesh feet other than their own – I seriously LOVE their designs.

Always on the lookout for a good deal, I picked up this cute garden set for $99L at Hello Tuesday this week.

It’s from Bee Designs, and everything you see (and some you don’t) is included.

It has a rezzer so you can adjust everything just where you want it – plus, it’s adorable!

This past week I’ve been slowly working my way through my inventory.
