As I’ve had free time, I’ve been back in SL exploring sims.  I’ve missed taking photos and playing around in Photoshop.  I’ve posted a couple of things on Flickr and I figure I have a while until I’ve uploaded my 300+ photos still available to me as a free Flickr user.

I didn’t have a ton of time to explore Whimberly, but what I did see was gorgeous.  I’ll have to make sure I return for another visit when I have more time.

I’m still a sucker for lighthouses. 😀

Just Another Tequila Sunrise

On one of my recent jaunts around SL, I decided to visit Just Another Tequila Sunrise.  I’d heard good things about it and wanted to see for myself.

Teq Sunrise 1I was not disappointed.

The sim is absolutely gorgeous.  Tons of things to see and photograph – so many that I had a hard time picking out which photos to use in this post!

Teq Sunrise 2I love this little church with the cemetery right next door.  It’s very reminiscent of many churches around where I live.

Teq Sunrise 3This fantastic little conservatory build is one I’ve seen many times, but it is perfect for this sim.  I love how the horses are grazing in the fields in the background.

Teq Sunrise 4Of course, I couldn’t resist taking a picture of the lighthouse. 😛

I should start a collection of all the lighthouses I’ve photographed!  If you haven’t visited Just Another Tequila Sunrise, take a few minutes out of your day and have a wander.

It’s so peaceful and relaxing.  Stunning build.

The Beauty of Vivaldi

A few days ago I was feeling the need to wander around SL and find some beautiful things to look at.

I came across Vivaldi in my travels.

The description says it’s ” the land of Four Seasons.”

There are different areas, including beaches, a forest, and a lovely snow-capped mountain.

Vivaldi 1

Usually when I visit a sim, I try to keep the windlight consistent, to give the photos a cohesive feel.

Vivaldi, though, just didn’t feel right that way.

I love the picturesque lighthouse on the rock promontory.

Vivaldi 2

There were all kinds of little hidden resting places.

I’ve always wanted a swing like this – to laze about during the summer and fall.

Alas, the weather where I live isn’t conducive to porch swings. 😦

Vivaldi 3

I love the look of this house, with the huge garage doors, the fountain out front, and the red tile roof.

Vivaldi 4

I would love to have a garden like this – to be able to sit and read outside.

Here, there’s always too much of something – too windy, too hot, too many bugs . . .

I did also visit Mount Shen, but crashed while setting up the pic, and ran out of time to go back.

Nevertheless, it’s a beautiful sim, full of lovely and relaxing spots.
