Sultry – LOTD #268

I don’t normally like censorship, but I do try to avoid any NSFW posts.  However, I’ve been having so much fun taking pics with the goodies I picked up at the Vintage Fair, that I kinda forgot. 😛

So, out comes the trusty ‘censored’ bar – I wouldn’t want any of the faint-hearted to keel over while reading my blog!

I’ve been shopping like a fiend for the last week or so – so many new events open that I hadn’t been to yet – FaMESHed, Collabor88, We ❤ Roleplay, and (thanks to one of my fabulous blogging groups), I was lucky enough to snag an early access pass into the Vintage Fair!

I love being able to wander around before an event is open – it’s not crowded or laggy, and I can actually walk around, instead of cam-shopping.

I was especially excited to see what was at the Vintage Fair, and I wasn’t disappointed.  There are some fabulous items – accessories, hair, skin, clothes, decor – anything and everything.

The outfit you see is from Avenge at the Vintage Fair.  I’d never heard of Avenge before, but they are definitely going to be added to my go-to shopping list.  I took another picture in an outfit I picked up from there (click here to see it) and I know I will get lots of use out of both.

The fabulous hair is from EMO-tions, out now at the We ❤ Roleplay event.  I love the soft curls.  The necklace is a treasured piece from deviousMind – the LaSombre necklace.

I’ve also been playing around with some free filters and actions I got for Photoshop – so much fun!

It’s always nice when you are sorting inventory to stumble across a gem of buy you’d forgotten all about.

While searching for an elegant updo to go with the dress, I found this uber-glam style from EMOtions hiding in my inventory.

I recently picked up this gorgeously elegant dress from Tiffany Designs at the Designer Circle event.

Maitreya issued a new update to their mesh body, and that has spurred me to try more applier-based clothing.  I still don’t have all the ins and outs of wearing applier clothing figured out, but I’m getting there. 😛

I found these fantastic laced heels from Essenz, which I’ve had for some time, but hardly ever worn.  I have so many shoes – but they are so fabulous!

Amazing what I can find when I go searching. 😀

The pose is one of my own – I’m currently only selling them on Marketplace, but I’m hoping to have an in-world location shortly.

I should start calling these ‘Look of the Week’ posts instead of LOTD posts. -.-

It’s gotten crazy busy for me, but in a good way.

Since today is Halloween, I wanted to get this pic posted, even if it’s almost over. 😛

This is a costume I wore for a performance at the Main Event Show Lounge for our Halloween show.

I love Boudoir, but a lot of their items do not ‘dance’ well.

Luckily for me, this one did, because I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it. 😀

Since this was purely a ‘fun’ pic for me, I have edited it in Photoshop.

I’ve added the green sparkles, as well as some of the spooky green highlights.

I am constantly amazed at the flexibility of Photoshop and how much fun I have playing around with different options and features.

I have several programs that will add effects for me in one-click, but I get much more enjoyment from playing around myself and seeing what cool effects I can make.

It’s been a quiet evening here, not one trick-or-treater at all.

When I saw this necklace from !deviousMind, I was salivating.

It’s so gorgeous!

The corset from Faster Pussycat was near it, so it was a no-brainer to put the two of them together.

I took the first shot from behind so that you could see the stunning detail on both the necklace and the corset.

It was easy to make a complete outfit, since the corset comes with so many pieces.

There is also an additional top harness that I am not wearing in the photo.

The hair is from a previous round of On9, but I love the way it looks.

The back of loops and curls just looks so elegant.

Since I’ve been having so much fun trying on different skins, this time I went with a pale one from Glam Affair.

Of course, having them built-in to my mesh body makes matching so much easier. 🙂

I dug through my inventory and found some dark makeup I’ve found here and there to complete the look.
