I’ve been inspired the last several days to do LOTD posts.

Part of the inspiration was the fantastic sale at Exposeur – so many items I’ve wanted, but had resisted buying. 😀

So when they announced the sale, I ran right over and picked up all the goodies – including this fantastic princess tower.

I know I’ll get good use of it – both as a photography prop and as a prop in a future set.

The adorable hair is a group gift from Truth – one of my favorite hair stores.

The outfit is from BE Designs – a new store for me, but I love this outfit.  It comes with system layers and appliers, so I can use it for photos with my mesh body and also have the option to wear it onstage if I wanted. 😀

If you haven’t been to Exposeur, take a trip over to the mainstore. I think the sale is still on, but even if it isn’t, there’s a ton of great items. 🙂

As the first strains of the saxophone sounded, she rose gracefully. This stage, er, cage, wasn’t big, but it was all hers.

I saw a notice on Plurk a few days ago that Exposeur was having a huge sale on props and poses.

I have quite a few props from Exposeur, and a quite a few more I’ve had my eye on, but I couldn’t bring myself to splurge.

The unexpected sale is due to the owner’s RL pet needed some unforeseen surgery.  Having just gone through the trauma of this with my own pet, I wanted to help.

So, off to spend my L$ I went. 🙂

One of the first things I picked up was this fantastic burlesque cage.  It comes with 10 built-in poses and is a fabulous photography prop.

Plus, it’s copy/mod, so I can use the poses in other HUDs, and I can use the cage in a routine (which I’m sure I will do!).

Anachron has been a favorite store of mine for quite a while – there’s always something new and unexpected.

When I saw this Empire Dress at Genre, I couldn’t resist. Gorgeous colors and such a flattering silhouette.

I paired it with a fabulous updo from Vanity Hair, and added some fantastic jewelry pieces from It!

I knew I wanted a formal, gorgeous, fabulous, and elegant location for the shoot, so of course I headed straight for Angel Manor.

I’m taking advantage of some free time to do more sorting and boxing.  Imagine finding this gorgeous dress just languishing in your inventory!

From Les Encantades and out now at Genre, this beautiful ‘Louise’ dress comes in a variety of colors.  I couldn’t resist the blue. 😀

I wanted to take the picture with a background rather than green screen, and I wanted a lovely wintery look, so of course I headed over to Frisland.

A few pieces of jewelry, a nice elegant updo, and I was all set.  I think this is one of the few photos I’ve taken where I am without shoes.  *Gasp!*

I’m so behind in all my sorting that I just found a folder of goodies I picked up at Genre this month.

The theme is ‘Regency’ and there are some great pieces, especially if you like Victoriana.

I don’t usually go for purple, but when I saw some of the items, I couldn’t resist.

This amazing gown is from Goth1c0.  The Antionette gown comes in a variety of colors and sizes, including a fitted version.

I paired it with these fabulous shoes from Avatar Bizarre.  They come with a color change HUD, so you can make them match any of the other fantastic items you might grab at Genre. 😀

The headpiece (the wispy white bits) is a gift from The Stringer Mausoleum at Genre.  I thought it went well with the hair from Exile.

The jewelry set is an Advent gift from Chop Zuey and it finishes off the outfit quite nicely.

I love this furniture set from Potomac Signature Homes.  So cozy and inviting, it reminds me of what you’d find in a ski lodge or log cabin.

Now that we have entered the holiday season, I find myself with too much do to and not nearly enough time to do it all.

I bought this outfit ages ago just discovered it sitting in my inventory.  The armor is from Flecha, part of a gacha set at the recent Jackpot Gacha event.

I love the texture of it, the appearance of well-worn metal.  It came in several different colors, and I was lucky enough to get a set in the red and the blue.

I found the accessories after digging in my inventory.  The horns are from Tabou Irresistible and the swords are so old, I have no idea where I got them, sorry.

The boots I picked up a long time ago from Yasum, but they are still fabulous.  The eye makeup is from White Widow – I love their stuff.

My hair is a recent release from Truth (my favorite hair store).  And even though I’m not wearing my mesh body or head, I lucked out and didn’t have to do a lot of post-processing to get rid of jagged edges.

This is another photo that was inspired by one item – these fantabulous skates from N Core, now available at Kustom9!

You can make them roller skates OR ice skates. They come with a color change HUD to change the color of the wheels, laces, and legwarmers.  You can also remove the legwarmers, if you prefer.

I love them!  So adorable!

Once I put them on, I knew I wanted to do a retro/vintage themed pic.  I started searching through inventory and found this cute apron dress I wore in a previous dance routine.

The vintage hair from Vanity is just perfect – I love her retro styles. ❤

I started scouting locations and noticed that the skates from N Core also included an AO.  I put it on, and voilá – instant pose options!

This adorable pose and others are in the included AO, as well as some basic skating animations.  So whether you’re roller- or ice-skating, you’re covered.

I know I’m going to get a lot of use out of these skates. 😛
