Happy New Year Everybody!

It’s been a crazy couple of days at my house.

Two trips to the dentist in two days (neither were for me, thank goodness).

I still need to get out and pick up a few things for the party tonight, but I spent yesterday baking, so all the desserts are done. 😀

2015 has been a wonderful year, and I am looking forward to all the challenges and good times coming in 2016.

May your 2016 be filled with dance, love, laughter, and all the happiness you can stand!

Happy New Year!

It’s August!

August

It’s only the 2nd of the month, and I am already behind. 😦

So many wonderful events opened on the 1st, but I was sidelined by a ginormous migraine.

(If you’ve never had a migraine, lucky you!  If  you have had one, you have my sympathies.)

I did manage to sneak in some quick shopping stops – FaMESHed, The Gacha Garden, and the new Mesh Body Addicts Fair, just to name a few.

I also hopped around to a few mainstores for the August round of Mix.

Izzie’s put out some new mesh eyelashes I’m dying to try – I can’t ever seem to find ones that fit just right.

Essenz (my favorite shoemaker) had several new things out, so of course I had to pick up some new shoes.

A girl can never have too many shoes, right? 😀

I also spent some time yesterday getting ready for a performance today.

An old friend opened a new theater and asked if I would dance in the opening show.

Of course I said yes!

So excuse me while I rush off, because I have a ton of stuff that needs done before I get busy with the performance.

Enjoy your Sunday, folks!

I Need a Clone!

I may have bitten off more than I can chew this week.

It’s a holiday week, so things are busier than usual in RL.  Only one more day and then my munchkins will be underfoot for the rest of the week.  And I have a to-do list that would make most people weep.

I need a clone so that she can work while I sleep (when I don’t get enough sleep, I get cranky).  She can write my blog posts, choreograph my routines, check all my emails, stay on top of my Google and Twitter feeds, and all those other social networks I don’t have the time for.

I have 3 routines to fix/alter/add/create in the next two days.  Ack!

I have a new HUD to learn (which includes learning a new mover system, a new rezzer, and a whole host of other new goodies that I just can’t wait to get my hands on!), hunts to finish, and pies to bake.

Where has my week gone?  And it’s only Monday!

So if you come across a cloning machine (or a time machine, that would work too), send it my direction.

In the meantime, I’d better get to work!

Happy Halloween!!

It’s been a busy day here already, cleaning house and getting ready for the thousands of little people who will come a knock-knock-knockin’ on my front door tonight!  (Traffic usually picks up once word gets around about who has the ‘good candy.’ :-P)

It’s supposed to be cold here tonight, so I’m betting the little ones will be making the rounds early.  My kids are too old to trick-or-treat, so I’ll be spending my evening comfortably ensconced on the sofa in-between rounds of door-answering.

Halloween is finally here and you know what that means . . .

Only 56 days til Christmas!!!  Stores here have already taken down Halloween stuff, skipped right over Thanksgiving, and begun displaying Christmas items.

In other big news, Daylight Savings time will end this weekend for me.  Hallelujah!  I hate Daylight Savings with a passion.  We ‘spring ahead’ in March and don’t ‘fall back’ until November.  What’s the point???

May you and yours have a safe and happy Halloween, and may your bag be filled with the ‘good stuff!’  😀
