For the last several months, I have been participating in a theme challenge at Scribbler’s Cove.
I make some weeks, I miss some.
I like challenges like this because they generally force me to learn or try something new.
Next week’s theme is ‘Books.’
I’m a read-a-holic in RL, and I have a huge collection of books.
(Not as huge as I’d like, but short of owning the Library of Congress, nothing would do.)
Apparently I also collect books in SL.
I looked through my inventory for ‘books,’ with an idea for a shoot in my head.
Umm, there’s a LOT of them in there.
More for decor than actual reading, of course, but still – a LOT of books. 😀
Floating books, big books, little books, open books, closed books, torn books, old books, new books – you name it, I’ve probably got it.
That makes me happy. 😛
After rezzing my plethora of books, I put together this look.
My usually organized inventory has become a hot mess lately, so I’m trying to go through and pull things I’ve bought but never worn.
Mixed in with some new purchases, of course.
This adorable braided hair from Truth isn’t new, but is one of my favorite looks.
The earrings and cuffs I’ve had for quite a while, but they are definitely keepers.
The necklace is a recent purchase from Maxi Gossamer for July’s round at Mix.
There was so much stuff in that box, I’m still unpacking it!
The shoes from G&D (one of my favorite shoemakers) are from the last round of 21Shoe. *sniffs*
I can’t believe that 21Shoe closed.

The dress from Sage is fitted mesh.
I stopped by Designer Showcase to look at another item, and ended up buying this cute little number instead.
