There are tons of good dance shows around the grid, so I’ve made an effort to go to some venues I haven’t been to in a while.
This weekend I went to a show at KiKi’s House of Burlesque.
I was very impressed with the quality of the acts and the amazing particle effects.
I am inspired to dive into creating particles again myself. 😀
The color palette used in some of the acts were very well done, as you can see here.
I missed snapping a pic of the opening number, but it was just as impressive as this one.
There was nudity in every act, so if nudity offends, this may not be the venue for you.
However, if you don’t mind nudity, it’s a great way to spend an hour of your day. 🙂

Again, the particle effects are just wonderful.
The sets in some acts were minimal, but well done.
It was interesting to see how creative people can be with just a black box as a starting point.
The costumes were nicely done as well.
