Animation Updates

Yesterday I was busy sim-hopping, visiting my list of animation stores and updating the information.

I have a page on the blog for animation stores, and I try to visit at least once a month.

I list the most recent releases (if I can find any) for each store.

Sadly, it seems like more and more animation stores are sitting idle.

Sine Wave and Henmations haven’t released anything new in ages.

Several animation stores have released new AO’s, but no new dances.

Humanoid has released a new series of Angie dances, so be sure to check those out.

And a few of the pose stores I follow have regular new releases.

I tried to visit 3FX to update their listing, but I cannot get into the sim.  ??

Not sure if they are closed or something was just wonky.  (It was Tuesday, after all!)

Lately I find myself going to Abranimations more and more.

The quality of dances there has greatly improved over what they used to be, the prices are very reasonable, and he generally offers mirrored dances with a pack.

I didn’t, however, see the daily dance sale board. 😦

Do you have any animation/pose stores that aren’t on my list you’d like me to update?

If so, please let me know!

  1. 3FX has closed, though you can still get their animations at DMC. But it is just the animations with intan card included for the couples animations, it is not the animations in poseballs, and trying to line them up for couples dances is a nightmare because apparently every starting point for the male/female is different. So if you want to use them on stage, prepare to spend a lot of time fiddling with the waypoints to get them to line up properly.

    1. Yes, I’ve heard that many couples dances are extremely difficult to choreograph, because of the differences in starting points. I’m sorry to hear 3FX closed, we don’t have enough good animation stores as it is!

  2. The daily dance sale board at Abranimations is still there. It’s at the right end of the long corridor in the centre where the single dances start. I think the choices must be randomly chosen by some computer program but every now and again there is a good one for the bargain price of $45.
