Last night was our New Year’s Eve show at Starlite Theater.
I was looking forward to this show for a variety of reasons, including that my hubs was going to dance with us in this one. 🙂
It was a terrific line-up with some really talented people.
Deyna opened the show with a terrific number to ‘Champagne Life.’
I love the costumes in this routine, and the choreography was superb.
Hubs was snapping pics for me, but he got busy backstage and missed getting photos of the 50’s diner routines.
The show was even more packed than usual – we actually hit 100 avis on the sim!
Dee did a sexy little number to Gimme Gimme Gimme.
Smokin’!
Although it’s always nice to have that many people in the audience, it usually causes something to bork.
One of the acts was the unfortunate victim of the lag monster.
With a huge routine planned for the end of the show, I started to sweat.
My first routine went smoothly.
A big thank you to Barney and Rosalie, who danced in this one with me.
And a huge thank you to Sam, who built this amazing set.
After this, Devy and her gang hit the stage.
Dancing to Celebrate, Devy showed us all how to shake our groove thangs!
Our guest dancer was ToySoldier Thor, who graciously filled in for a last-minute cancellation.
I think he had fun. 😀

Sam built yet another fantastic set and as a bonus, I got to dance with my favorite partner.
It was about this time that lag started to hit me, and I started to panic slightly, racing around like mad backstage trying to get everything set up for the finale.
Thankfully, I had time while another amazing routine by Isabelle Mavendorf was onstage.
This set, done to Avril Lavigne’s ‘I’m With You,’ was by far one of my favorite routines of the night.
I love the shadow dancers and the feel of the set.
Next up was the audience finale.
I had wanted to do a Rockette-style number for a while, and I thought it would be fun to involve the audience.
And, of course, I wanted to go big.

Sam built another amazing set and we all had a blast dancing in Times Square to ’42nd Street’ and ‘New York, New York.’
We ended the night with a ball drop, confetti, balloons, and fireworks.
Not too bad. 😀
