Reflections

Tomorrow is New’s Year Eve.

My news feed is clogged with posts about resolutions and looking ahead.

I realized I needed to take a step back and reflect on what I’ve done this year.

2014 was a pretty damn awesome year.

My real life is full and fulfilling – my family is tight-knit and the joy of my life.  It was a rocky road to get where we are, but it’s been sooooo worth the struggle.

My kids are awesome, and I am truly, truly blessed to have them.  They frustrate the hell out of me some days, but every day there is joy in having them close.

My husband is the most amazing person, and many of the things I accomplished this year I can trace directly back to his love and support.

I find joy in my SL as well.  I have amazing friends and I get to work with some pretty damn amazing people.

I’m not going to name names, because I’ll forget someone, but if you are in my SL, know that I appreciate and treasure you all.

2014 had its ups and downs, but it was mostly ups. 🙂

As I head into 2015, these same amazing people have presented me with opportunities (in both RL and SL) and I hope to be able to take advantage of every single one of them.

(I know I said amazing a lot, but it’s the most accurate word I can find.)

I hope 2014 was a great year for you as well, and I hope 2015 will be even better.

Cheers!
