You thought I forgot, didn’t you?
In some previous post threads, I asked the question whether dance in SL is a form of art. Out of those conversations, an idea for a dance experiment was born.
Give dancers the opportunity to create a routine, but require that each dancer use the same song. A number of dancers volunteered for the experiment. They were/are free to create anything they wanted, as long as they used the song I chose.
They could build a set (or not), they could emote (or not), they could use effects (or not) – all creative choices left up to them, except for the music. I think it will be very interesting to see what happens. 🙂
